We have many other sites that have guest writers and we need different writers and bloggers to be creative no matter what your interest is in horses….we want you! We have big plans and we need people who are passionate about horses and want to get in early.
I am looking for people who will write with personality, humor and provide interesting personal stories, advice, reporting on events both locally and internationally, photos and most importantly building a relationship and evoking responses from readers. Originality is of the upmost importance, no cutting and pasting other people’s work, it must be your own work.
If you are interested please email me at info@bobblesolutions.com to discuss it further.

The American Quarter Horse Youth Association Championship Experience at Los Alamitos is almost ready to kick off! If you want to be a part of this great event, you must have your applications in by August 15th, not all that far away.
Championship Experience participants attend the races and get a behind-the-scenes look at the world of racing. Participants are assigned to barns where a professional racehorse trainer mentors them and gives them hands-on experience with racehorses. Participants must be at least 14 years old as of January 1, 2007 to enter; but of course, experience is not required to enter. If you would like to apply, click here.

Illinois recently reached a decision to discontinue butchering horses for human consumption.
Governor Blagojevich is quoted as saying, “It’s past time to stop slaughtering horses in Illinois and sending their meat overseas. I’m proud to sign this law that finally puts an end to this practice.” Currently, the only state besides Illinois to still allow horse butchering is Texas…but then again, it’s Texas ; p (Just kidding big-sky state, you know I love ya!)
The decision was reached when Illinois realized that most Americans don’t eat horse meat, and that foreign sales of horse-meat were on the decline. While there is some opposition to this new Legislature; due to loss of jobs, and an industry with enough viability that over 100 thousand horses were slaughtered last year to fufill the demand.
